I… BOO! Halloween themed Wedding ideas

Although more widely celebrated in America, Halloween is quickly gaining popularity here in Australia as well! And spookily enough, so are Halloween themed weddings! So if your nuptials are this week, or you’re planning for a hallo-wedding in the years to come, check out our top 5 ideas to tie the knot with your Boo 😉

  1. Line your aisle with mini pumpkins: not only will it look adorable, but they can double as your wedding favours! Have a pumpkin carving station set up for your guests to carve their own jack’o’lanterns after the ceremony while you’re getting your photos done. Use them as props at your ceremony and your guests can take them home as a spooky treat!
  2. Have your guests dress in Costume: After all, it is a party! Cross out black tie on your invite and have your guests arrive in costume! Set a theme (like, how you know the couple or fondest memory) and have fun watching your guests arrive! Also doubles as a great ice breaker if you have a lot of guests who don’t already know each other
  3. Scary Stationery: Ouija board themed invitations, RIP RSVPs, haunted house welcome boards – have fun with it!
  4. Pumpkin cake: It’s actually delicious! And there’s so many ideas for how to decorate, a sombre “til death do us part” on a coffin cake is definitely something different!
  5. Monster Mashups – Think of all the bangers you can add to your reception playlist, Thriller by Michael Jackson, The Time Warp from Rocky Horror, and why not walk down the aisle to Spooky by Classics IV with lyrics about proposing on Halloween!
